Further reading into the bill aimed to ban Tik Tok has revealed more malicious intents, including limiting freedom of speech, the ability to ban any platform on a whim, and remove people with no way to return on a whim. Anything with more than a million users (RING Doorbells, video games, Instagram) the government will be allowed to look through without your permission under this bill, VPNs will be a crime. This is bigger than Tik Tok! Following people on more than one platform is great for a lot of things, but it will not save us here. Speak up, call your representatives and make them hear you!
